Newcastle
Home base. Russell lives and works in Merewether and covers all Newcastle suburbs. From heritage homes in Hamilton to beachside properties in Bar Beach, Newcastle's diverse housing stock means a wide range of timber species and floor conditions.
Lake Macquarie
Australia's largest coastal saltwater lake, surrounded by established suburbs with beautiful timber homes. Charlestown, Warners Bay, Belmont and Toronto are regular service areas for Phoenix Floor Sanding.
Port Stephens
Coastal conditions require special attention. Salt air and UV exposure affect timber differently, and Russell selects finishes and oils suited to the Port Stephens environment. Deck sanding is particularly popular in this area.
Hunter Valley
The Hunter Valley is home to some of the region's oldest homesteads and heritage properties. Maitland and Cessnock in particular have a wealth of period homes with original timber floors that respond beautifully to professional sanding and refinishing.
